The Complete Backyard Transformation Process™

A real plan, before a single shovel hits dirt.

Most backyard projects fail because nobody draws the whole thing first. We build the plan together, line up the budget to scope, then run a single, coordinated build from breaking ground to the day you fire up the grill.

  1. 01

    Discovery & Vision

We sit down on your back porch, look at the space, and listen. How do you want to use it? Who's it for? What's been frustrating you about the yard for years? We name the dream before we draw it.

  2. 02

    Design & Planning

You get a real design — not a napkin sketch. Layout, materials, elevations. You see how the pool, patio, kitchen, and plantings actually live together before a single shovel hits dirt.

  3. 03

    Budget & Scope Alignment

Real numbers, not vague ranges. We line up scope to budget so there are no surprises later. If a phase makes sense, we'll tell you. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too.

  4. 04

    Construction & Project Management

One contract. One team. One project manager who answers the phone. Pool, hardscape, landscape, irrigation, drainage — coordinated under one roof on a schedule we actually hit.

  5. 05

    Final Walkthrough & Enjoyment

We walk it together. Punch list closed. Systems explained. Then you do the part that matters — you start using the backyard. Praise the Lord.

Honest answers

Things people ask before they call.

What if we spend all this money and it still isn't what we wanted?+

That's the biggest fear, and it's why we design the entire backyard before construction starts. You'll see the layout, the materials, and how it lives together — and we won't break ground until you say it's right. One contract, one team, one accountable owner: me.

Can we do this in phases?+

Sometimes yes, sometimes no — and we'll be honest about it. Phasing pools and patios separately usually costs more because drainage, irrigation, and landscaping get torn up twice. We'll lay out the math so you can decide with your eyes open.

I don't think we have the budget for what we really want.+

Tell us the truth about the number and the dream — we'll either make it work, suggest a smarter phasing plan, or tell you straight up that what you want needs more runway. No pressure either way.

Are you licensed and insured?+

Yes. Cooper is a Licensed Irrigator and we carry full general liability and workers' comp on every job.

How long does a full backyard transformation take?+

Most full builds run 8–16 weeks depending on scope, weather, and inspections. We'll give you a real schedule before we start and tell you immediately if anything threatens it.

Let's design it together

Tell us about your backyard. We'll draw the plan that finally makes it usable.
